Position title: Project Manager

Based in: Bucharest

Qualifications and Experience:

Highly desirable A University degree in a construction or related discipline.

Strong technical knowledge of construction projects with demonstrable skills gained in both new build and refurbishment projects with minimum value of €10 mil construction cost.

Experience of managing a team and a large project from start to finish.

Highly desirable sectors for experience: industrial projects, residential projects, commercial and retail experience.

Full Member of an appropriate professional institution will be a plus.

Responsabilities and Behaviour:

  • Effectively communicating with all parties, identify and manage the risks, planning and progress monitoring, development of appropriate project controls;
  • Behave as a trusted client advisor to contribute to their success, acting fairly, ethically, and in a socially responsible manner;
  • Organize and manage project teams; make decisions; communicate and negotiate effectively; recognize and manage risks, work as part of a team;
  • Forecast and monitor the financial performance of the projects, providing regular detailed reports, comparing actual and forecast performance to plan expectations and explaining variations;
  • Care for colleagues, encouraging their development, engagement and achievement.

Position title: Site Manager

Based in: Bucharest

Qualifications and Experience:

University degree in construction.

Minimum of 5-6 years experience in site management.

Comprehensive understanding and experience of a wide range of construction techniques and best practices.

Responsabilities and Behaviour:

  • Manage all aspects of the building site, with responsibility for health and safety issues, resources co-ordination, site presentation;
  • Monitor and manage contractor's day-to-day issues on site to ensure they comply with standards. Maintain frequent site presence at all worksites;
  • Responsibility for the delivery of the project with the added support of your Contracts Manager and Senior Management;
  • Assist the Project Manager with keeping expenditure in line with budget provision and consistent with the agreed strategy for the contract;
  • Contribute to the validation of works payment applications;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Administration and record keeping;
  • Attention to detail
